‌You can pay bills and for services in several ways: 


Online - Pay quickly and easily

You can now pay for your Council Tax quickly and easily through our new online payments service. If you would prefer to use the previous account sign in then you can still do so at

Direct Debit

You can pay your Council TaxBusiness Rates and Housing Benefit overpayments by Direct Debit. 

Simply complete the Direct Debit Application Form and we will set this up for you.

You can pay for the following services by debit card only:

You will need your invoice number/account reference to make a payment.

Online banking

You can use your own internet banking facilities to pay us, either by making a one-off payment or setting up a standing order. Please ensure that you quote the correct reference/account number.

It can take up to six days for a payment to reach your account. All payments must arrive at the Council by the due date of payment.

Our bank details

In person

You can pay for any Council service using our self-service payment kiosk in the Civic Centre, Arnold. Payments can be made cashcheque and debit card

Opening times

The beginning of the month is a busy time for kiosk payments and there may be a queue. 

While the kiosk is self-service there are always staff available to help.
