Corporate Director - Stephen Bray

Stephen Bray joined the Council in 1990 as Policy and Research Officer. He has worked in various management roles since, before successfully applying for his current role of Corporate Director in October 2011.

As Corporate Director, Stephen works with the Chief Executive, colleague corporate directors and elected members to provide strategic leadership for the Council and the Borough.  His responsibilities include communications, employee relations, performance management, sustainability and equalities, all with a focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for the Council’s customers.

He is also lead director for the Communications, Elections & Members Services and Organisational Development functions, and supports the Chief Executive with the management of local and national elections.
