Scrap Metal Dealers

To register as a scrap metal dealer please complete the application form. There is no fee to pay for.  You may alternatively wish to register online.

The legislation enables the Police to visit scrap metal dealers for enforcement purposes.

Scrap metal register

We keep a register of all scrap metal dealers in the borough, with this document available for inspection by contacting our Licensing section.

Individual dealers will also keep records of their own scrap metal transactions.
