UK Trade and Investment UK Trade & Investment is the Government's organisation that helps UK based companies to succeed overseas through its own network of dedicated Trade Advisers within the UK and at British Embassies and Consulates, Worldwide. This support enables companies to meet potential new customers for their products and services in a cost effective manner.

Locally based East Midlands export trade advisers, on a no fee basis, are available to visit companies and provide guidance on how best they can win new business overseas, develop an export profile and inform them of the tailored support available to them to achieve new sales. Subsidised products and grants are available to help research overseas markets, find agents or distributors, visit and exhibit outside the UK, gain international selling skills and identify new opportunities and turn them into real business.
