Neighbourhood's Team

Ward Map - Neighbourhoods The Council takes its role as community leader very seriously, and has recently established a Neighbourhood’s Team to ensure we continue to act upon the issues that affect local communities on a daily basis.

Three Co-ordinators, Lorna, Donna and Paul, are working hard to create links between the community, the Council and the wider Gedling Partnership.

Their role is to develop ward based Action Plans through which local people are involved in decisions that affect their quality of life, and individuals and community groups can receive support to achieve their aspirations.

They are able to offer structured support across the whole borough, including our more rural areas, whilst working intensively in areas where it is needed most.  They can link you up with a wide range of services to benefit your Neighbourhood, helping establish groups to continue to plan their future, access funding and support from partner agencies to help them flourish in the community.
