Mayor of Gedling Borough
Councillor Patricia Andrews was elected to the office of Mayor for 2011/12.
Councillor Sandra Barnes, who represents the Daybrook ward was elected as Deputy Mayor of the borough.
Cllr Andrews, who has been a councillor for four years in the Newstead ward, will represent the council as Mayor over the next year. The Mayor’s escort will be Mr Bruce Andrews, who is her husband and borough councillor for the Ravenshead ward.
Her chosen charity is prostate cancer through the Urology department of Nottingham City Hospital.
