Parish Councils

A parish council works at a level below Gedling. Parish or town councils are an elected body made up of local people representing the interests of the community.

In Gedling there are 10 parish councils.  These are:

• Bestwood St Albans
• Burton Joyce

• Colwick
• Lambley
• Linby
• Newstead
• Papplewick
• Ravenshead
• Woodborough

We advise you make the council clerk your first point of contact when contacting your local Parish Council.

Stoke Bardolph do not have a parish council but do hold parish meetings.
