Council Tax is a statutory tax therefore the liable person must make payments as stated on their most recent Council Tax Demand Notice to avoid recovery action however there are ways you can reduce the amount you have to pay.
If you are the liable person and do not make payment as stated on your Council Tax Demand Notice then you could be subject to recovery action and incur further costs.
If you pay by Direct Debit you can extend your instalments until March giving you a further two instalments which would reduce your monthly instalments. To take up this offer please fill out the application below and tick the box indicating that you want an extension until March.
