Gedling Leisure offers 12 days of fitness FREE

Four of Gedling’s leisure centres are offering everyone a 12 day pass to use the fitness suites, swimming pools and exercise classes – absolutely free.

As the festive party season approaches, Gedling Leisure is making it really easy to get you motivated, do more exercise and stay in shape.

Arnold, Redhill, Calverton and Carlton Forum Leisure Centres are all offering this special pass, which includes access to a wide range of activities, such as:

• Active for Life 50+ club
• Water aerobics
• Family fun sessions in the pool
• ‘laugh-a-minute’ hula hooping
• Yoga
• Spinning

The fitness suites have a range of up-to-the-minute equipment and gym challenges for all levels of ability.

There’s also plenty of activities for children, from the SHOKK gym – a purpose built junior fitness suite at Carlton Forum, to cheerleading and hip hop dance classes, inflatable fun in the pools and much more.

The leisure staff are always on hand to help and encourage you, and they can even help create your very own programme.

All four leisure centres have nationally recognised customer standards and significant new investment in the facilities. The staff are keen to show you the excellent service and activities Gedling Borough’s leisure centres have to offer.

Cllr Wendy Golland, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Youth at Gedling Borough Council said: “The Council is committed to helping all people across Gedling to become fit and healthy, and by offering this 12 day pass, we hope to encourage a lot more people to see what fantastic facilities are on their doorstep. Not only do we have some great facilities, we also have some excellent staff who can motivate and encourage people to either lose weight, reach their goal, or simply learn a new activity.”
