Gedling Borough Council is asking for views about the borough’s parks and open spaces.
A survey is available on the Parks and Open Spaces page of this website and will collect people’s thoughts on the borough’s parks and what could be improved for the future. The results will help the council plan the future of borough’s opens spaces.
Completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw to win £75 worth of Victoria Shopping Centre Vouchers, a mountain bike and MP3 players. The draw will take place in March 2011.
The council looks after more than 30 parks around the borough, along with allotments, cemeteries and church yards, natural green space (woodlands, nature reserves etc), outdoor sports facilities, school playing fields, amenity green space (areas of open space and mown grass in housing areas), play areas for children and young people and Green corridors (former disused railway lines, riverside walks).
