Tell us what you think about the Draft Gedling Sustainable Community Strategy 2009-2026

State of Gedling Borough Review

Earlier in the year Gedling Partnership asked for your views on a range of information and statistics around what it is like to live and work in the Borough, as part of the State of Gedling Borough Review.  This included information on the Borough’s population, housing, income, the local economy, lifestyles, deprivation levels and also residents’ views about the Borough and its services. Thank you for your responses.

The new Gedling Sustainable Community Strategy

The State of the Borough Review provides the evidence to inform the new Sustainable Community Strategy for Gedling Borough.  This document will outline a new long-term vision and priorities for the Borough.

The Draft Vision for 2026

During the Summer, the Partnership has been analysing your feedback, its own research findings and many other relevant pieces of research. The result is a draft vision and suggested priorities for the Borough and these are set out in the Draft Gedling Sustainable Community Strategy 2009-2026.

This is an outline framework of what our future Community Strategy might look like and not the final document.  Its purpose is to seek your views on the suggested vision and priorities derived from our research and consultation to date.

We would like your views again!

We would like to hear your views on the draft vision and priorities outlined in this document.  These will help us shape the final Strategy, which is due to be agreed by Gedling Partnership in December and published early next year.

To take part in the consultation go to our new on-line portal at http://gedling.limehouse.co.uk/portal/corporate_policy/draftscs1.

You can also download a pdf version of the Draft Strategy.

The deadline for responses on the Draft Strategy is Wednesday 5th November
