By investigating land we will ensure that all land in the borough is suitable for use and does not pose unacceptable risks to people, the environment, water or property.

A rolling inspection programme (see Appendix VII) will be undertaken, running until July 2010, where we will produce a public contaminated land register.

We have produced a leaflet for environmental consultants and developers on how to assess and remedy land that may be affected by contamination. Please contact us if you would like a copy.
