Gedling One Stop provides a range of advice and information on Gedling Borough Council’s services. This enables visitors to the Civic Centre to have their queries for Council Tax, Housing Benefits, Planning, Housing and Concessionary Travel dealt with in one place. We can also provide advice on other Council services and if we don’t know the answer we will find it or put you in touch with someone who does.
Gedling One Stop is in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Contact and their advisers also work with us so you won’t have to make a separate trip to see them. They deal with advice and information on all NCC services such as free school meals, blue badge applications, education, travel and highways and social services.
They have also been approved by the Department for Works and Pensions to help people complete applications for Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance and Disability Living Allowance.
The County Contact advisers hold a weekly drop-in surgery at the St Georges Centre, Victoria Road, Netherfield between 9.30am and 12.30pm.
A full range of leaflets covering Gedling and Nottinghamshire County Council services is available as well as a range of leaflets provided by the Department for Works and Pensions. We also work with Gedling Primary Care Trust and can provide advice and information leaflets where required.
Gedling One Stop reception staff can deal will basic queries to save you queuing, such as photocopying documents, issuing bus passes, printing a council tax bill and showing planning applications.
Welfare Rights surgeries are held here every fortnight on a Tuesday morning. To book an appointment please telephone 0115 9013957.
