Housing Services

Housing Services currently owns just under 3,500 properties across Gedling Borough Council, comprising of houses, flats, bungalows and bedsits. A third of which are designated sheltered with wardens providing support to elderly and vunerable tenants.

Housing Services employs approximately 100 staff and provide a whole range of services including planned and responsive repairs, housing options and homelessness, estate management, housing strategy, rents and arrears management and private sector housing.

The department is in the top 25% of local authorities for a number of Government performance targets, and is continually looking in to ways of improving its customer service and ensuring it is providing a quality service.
