Getting a Home in Gedling

We allocate homes in accordance with our Lettings Policy. Anyone over the age of 16 can apply for housing, including existing secure tenants who wish to transfer.

We will not allocate homes on some conditions:

• If you do not satisfy the habitual residency test
• If you are subject to immigration control
• If you are a previous tenants of either a Council or Housing Association who have been served with a court order, or an injunction or have been evicted for anti-social behaviour, or where clear evidence of such behaviour exists.

We will assess your housing situation and write to you confirming your application number and advising of the band which your application has been placed in.
