Gedling Borough Council maintains and manages the tenants’ homes, but it does not insure their belongings.

When tenants move into a property, their furniture, belongings and decoration are not protected against theft, fire, vandalism, or burst pipes – so they need to take out their own home contents insurance.

To assist tenants Gedling Borough Council has negotiated Insurance cover currently with Norwich Union benefits of this Scheme includes: -
