We offer small amounts of funding to assist groups and individuals in the delivery of quality arts and community events that fit in with our Corporate Plan’s principles of Community Cohesion, particularly if an event:
Funding is only available for individuals and organisations based in the borough and for events that are held in Gedling for the benefit of its residents.
We are keen to promote and target our resources at quality community events that meet these criteria, with examples of past projects we’ve supported available below:
Please note that we are unable to support school fundraising events. We also receive more applications for funding than the resources available, so not all applications will be awarded funding.

Nottinghamshire County Council’s Arts Service provides a range of funding to develop the arts across the county, awarding funding to projects that involve professional artists and which take place within the county’s administrative boundaries.
However, this funding is not available to projects that take place within the City of Nottingham itself.
