The new Making Play Matter strategy highlighted the need for localised standards in play provisions that could be used as a guide to the service provider, as well as local parents and their children.

The Gedling Play Partnership brings together representatives from the public, private and volunteer sectors to develop play opportunities in the borough, with information about our partners available on the following external sites:

Volunteering and training opportunities

If you are over 16 and looking to get involved in the delivery of play in the borough, the Gedling Play Partnership offers a number of volunteering and training opportunities to suit you.

As part of our work to increase the number of qualified play workers in the borough, we can provide training opportunities in exchange for volunteer hours through our training programme.
