Our football pitches

We provide grass football pitches at the following sites for adults and childrens football, as well as mini-pitches suitable for children under ten:

Arnold

• Church Lane No. 1 Church Lane Rec. Ground, Arnold – Senior Football Pitches,

Making a booking

Our pitches are available to hire on an annual basis by customers aged 18 and above by contacting us on (0115) 901 3624 or emailing leisure@gedling.gov.uk

You can also take advantage of members-only discounts by registering for a Gedling Leisure Card, with details of how to apply available on our Gedling Leisure Card page.

• Additional bookings

To request for additional fixtures to be added to your original booking, please contact us on (0115) 901 3624 or email leisure@gedling.gov.uk

Please note that additional bookings must be made by 12pm on Wednesday for the following weeks play.

• One-off bookings

One-off bookings are only available at Carlton Forum Leisure Centre. To make a booking and for details on pitch availability, please contact the centre on (0115) 987 2333 or email carlton.forum@gedling.gov.uk

• Cancellations

You can request to cancel an existing booking at any time although this may incur a charge. The Club Secretary may request to cancel an existing booking by returning the following application form to our Leisure Services team at the Civic Centre:

• Cancellation Form PDF (48 KB)

The completed form must contain the name of the club as well as the time, date and venue of the cancelled event. Cancellations must also be made within the following time periods:

• Weekend matches – Notification must be received no later than 12pm on the Wednesday prior to the match
• Midweek matches – Notification must be received at least two working days prior to the match
• Referee cancellations – Cancellations where the referee cancels the match before it begins due to bad weather and poor pitch conditions must be received by email on the next working day
