Sport Unlimited is a £36million scheme that aims to encourage more children and young people aged five to 19 to play sport.
Sport Unlimited will provide funding for up to ten weeks of activities and can be accessed by a wide range of bodies including sports clubs, youth clubs, private sector companies, community groups, schools, local authorities and uniformed organisations.
In the first two years of the project, we have accessed £40,000 to support a range of projects involving the SHOKK Youth Gym and karate, dance, tag rugby, tennis and golf sessions.

The GOALS scheme aims to engage young people in a range of constructive activities which link to the every child matters framework.
The sessions aim to increase playing, coaching and officiating opportunities for participants, as well as breaking down the barriers between the Police and young people to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the targeted neighbourhood.
The scheme also aims to create routes to education, training and employment as well as encouraging volunteering within the project to increase young people’s interest in and connections with the professional game.
