It is an unfortunate fact that every year people catch germs and parasites after playing with and handling pet animals. Gedling Borough Council, in co-operation with the Gedling Primary Care Trust, Sure Start and the Gedling Community and Voluntary Services have produced an advice leaflet on the subject of "Pets and Hygiene". The leaflet provides health advice for people handling pets along the theme of, 'Think, Play, Wash'. The colourful art work for the leaflet was produced by children at Pinewood Nursery.
Please download the leaflet, "Pets and Hygiene".
