Licensing

From April 2010 a number of licence and registration applications are being made available in electronic format from the website of Business Link (ELMS-Electronic Licensing Management System) and where available links are being placed on our licensing pages to enable you to apply online. We apologise that while the links are being established with ELMS full functionality of the electronic service may not be available.

If you however you are looking to apply for a licence and wish to send it to us in the post you may find the application form below. All application forms should be printed out and returned to the licensing department, using the address at the bottom of the page.

Hairdressers

Please note that this Authority does not licence hairdressers.

Performing animals

This Authority does not license performing animals-you should either contact Nottinghamshire County Council if you live outside the Nottingham City area or Nottingham City Council if you live within the city boundary

Pleasure boats

Please also note that this Authority does not have any licenced pleasure boats in the area, prospective applicants should contact our Licensing section at the Civic Centre on (0115) 901 3971 or email licensing@gedling.gov.uk in the first instance.

Stage hypnotism

To apply for a licence under the Hypnotism Act 1952 please contact our Licensing section at the Civic Centre on (0115) 901 3971 or email licensing@gedling.gov.uk

The national Business Link site allows aplications to be made regarding stage hypnotism.
