Gedling Borough Council as a licensing authority has produced its Gambling Licensing Policy Statement of Principles as required by law and national guidance. At a meeting of the full Council on the 13th December 2006 the Gedling Statement was adopted and will operate from the 31st January 2007 for three years unless revised in the meantime.
Licensing authorities need to give 14 days notice of their intention, both on the Internet and at least one other location to publish their gambling statements.

The date on which the statement is to be published: 28th December 2006.
The date when the statement will come into effect: 31st January 2007.
The statement or revision will be published on the Intranet site of Gedling Borough Council (www.gedling.gov.uk). The statement or revision can also be inspected during normal office hours at the:

The Gambling Act 2005 requires licensing authorities to produce and make available their Gambling Statement of Principles. The Gedling Borough Council Gambling Statement was approved at the full council meeting on the 13th December 2006 and is available to either download from this page from the 28th December 2006 or can be ordered from our Licensing Office (see our main Licensing page for our full contact details).You can download the statement here (pdf document 721 KB). The Statement comes into force on the 31st January 2007.
