Forms & Downloads

All of the Standard Planning Application Forms (1APP), are available from the Planning Portal, which enables you to either apply online (external link); to fill out the forms electronically and then download them; or just to download the forms (external link).

You should complete the forms as fully and accurately as possible, as the Borough Council will not process invalid or incomplete applications. It is also important that you use the right forms for the works you propose to carry out.  Further guidance relating to this is contained on the Types of Application page.

To supplement the Standard Planning Application Forms, the Borough Council has produced a 'Guide to Completing Householder Application Forms' and 'Information to be Submitted with Planning Application Forms', which detail all the national and local requirements for an application to be valid.once 1APP becomes mandatory on 6th April 2008.
