Lights, Street Nameplates and Furniture

We look after the lights, street nameplates and street furniture in the borough. If you would like to report anything as faulty or damaged please contact us on 0115 901 3621 or email waste@gedling.gov.uk.

Lights

We only maintain lighting in our leisure centres and car parks. We also look after the Christmas lights in the following areas:

• Arnold Town Centre
• Carlton Hill
• Netherfield Shopping Area
• Westdale Lane Shopping Area
• Mapperley Shopping Area

If you would like to report a faulty light such as an unlit or damaged street light, sign or bollard you will need to contact Nottinghamshire County Council on 08449 808080.

Street Nameplates and Furniture

We are responsible for the maintenance and replacement of all street nameplates and furniture such as benches and bus shelters.

If you want to report a damaged street nameplate or furniture please contact us on 0115 901 3621 or email waste@gedling.gov.uk. Please tell us the location, what the damage is and how long it has been damaged (if known).
