Garden Waste Collection Scheme

man and borderThe garden waste collection scheme makes it easier for you to recycle waste into compost.

From 1 April 2010 until 31 March 2011 the cost is £33 and we will provide you with a brown bin to put your garden waste in.  A second brown bin costs £13 until 31 March 2011.  However join from 1st September 2010 until March 2011 and the charge has been reduced to £17.50 for one bin with addtional bins costing £8 each.  In most cases we will collect the bins monthly from January to March and fortnightly from April to December, however there may be slight variations in this. The calendar we will send you will illustrate this better.

If you cannot afford to join the scheme, why not join with a neighbour and share the cost? All you need to do is have one person pay and then ensure the brown bin is left outside their address on collection days.
