Help With Downloadable Content

On this page you will find:

Information about Adobe PDF Documents

Many of the downloadable documents on our website are PDF (Portable Document Format) files that have been created using Adobe Acrobat software.

PDF files can be used by a range of computer systems and are designed with the Internet in mind to make it easier to distribute large, complex documents.

However, PDF documents can be difficult to read when you are visually impaired or are using screen readers. Therefore Gedling Borough Council are in the process of removing as many of the smaller PDF documents as possible and replacing them with more accessible versions.

The following tools can be used to read the remaining PDF documents or to convert them into plain text or plain HTML documents.
