Play Days are organised and part-funded by Gedling Borough Council and Gedling Play Forum and offer a chance for the under 14s to express themselves through play in a safe and secure environment.
Gedling Play Forum provide table top arts and crafts for all ages and abilities using donated materials. Their Scrapstore is one of the most successful, with businesses from all over the country offering free surplus stock or materials that would have gone to land-fill, to be used in a non-profit making way.
Gedling Play Partnership
Made up of representatives from the private, public and voluntary sectors, the Gedling Play Partnership was formed in 2007 to look at local play provision and drive forward the new Play strategy for the borough.
