There are a number of funding opportunities available to local artists and organisations delivering arts projects and activities in the borough.

Funding from Gedling Borough Council

We offer small amounts of funding to assist groups and individuals in the delivery of quality arts & community events that support the Council’s Priorities. These are:

Funding is only available for individuals and organisations based in the borough and for events that are held in Gedling for the benefit of its residents.

Please note that we are unable to support school fundraising events. We also receive more applications for funding than the resources available, so not all applications will be awarded funding.

Nottinghamshire Arts Fund

Run by Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottinghamshire Arts Fund welcomes applications for projects that increase participation in the arts in the County (excludes Nottingham City). You can apply at any time during the year for between £500 and £2500.

Arts Council England – Grants for the Arts

Grants for the Arts are for activities carried out over a set period and which engage people in England in arts activities, and help artists and arts organisations in England carry out their work.
