Our leisure centres are open! We've made lots of changes to limit user numbers, keep everywhere clean and keep everyone safe in our gyms, classes and pools. Everything you need to know before you visit is available on our re-opening information page. Find out more.

DNA Membership FAQ

What happens to my DNA membership when the leisure centres re-open?

Your DNA membership will continue as it did before the closure. Any queries about payment can be found below. The changes you will experience at site are detailed here.

If you usually pay for your membership on the 5th of the month - You will have free access to the sites from the 25th July up to the 5th August in lieu of the closure of sites on the 20th March, your direct debits will then resume on the 5th August as normal. If you do not feel the time is right for you to return to our leisure centres you can opt to suspend your membership until you feel comfortable to return. To do this please visit our website http://www.gedling.gov.uk/changes-to-memberships/  and complete the suspension form no later than 27th July to give us time to process the suspension and ensure we don’t collect your direct debit payment on the 5th August.

If you usually pay for your membership on the 20th of the month – we won’t be re-starting your direct debit payments until the 20th August. If you would like to re-start your membership before the 20th August you will need to ring your usual leisure centre and make a an upfront pro rata payment over the phone, which will cover your DNA membership up to the 20th August. If you do not feel the time is right for you to return to our leisure centres you can opt to suspend your membership until you feel comfortable to return. To do this please visit our website http://www.gedling.gov.uk/changes-to-memberships/  and complete the suspension form no later than 10th August, to give us time to process the suspension and ensure we don’t collect your direct debit payment on the 20th August.

I pay for my DNA annually, so how do I turn this back on?

Your membership will be live from the 25th July and we have added 4 months membership to your account in lieu of the leisure centre closure. Customers who also paid for access to the health suite will be given an additional month to their DNA membership, as this facility is not currently open to the public. If however, you do not feel comfortable returning to the leisure centres then we ask that you complete the suspension form by the 31st July which can be found http://www.gedling.gov.uk/changes-to-memberships/ and we will suspend your membership until you feel ready to return

How do I sign-up to DNA Health and Fitness Membership?

We are trying to reduce the number of people accessing the leisure centres at any one time so we would ask that you ring the leisure centre before turning up so we can arrange a suitable time for you to come in and sign-up. Our team can give you a tour of the site and explain our health and fitness membership packages and answer any of your questions. We are not currently offering face to face gym inductions, so any new customers will need to waiver their gym induction and utilise the instructions films which can be found on our website at http://www.gedling.gov.uk/induction/

We have removed our 9 month contract memberships so all of our memberships are now flexible, which means you are able to cancel your membership when you need to. This is part of our commitment to encourage more individuals to take a positive step towards their health and wellbeing.
