Bowls

 We offer both indoor and outdoor bowls facilities.

Outdoor Bowls

Our outdoor bowling greens are open 9am until dusk throughout the outdoor bowls season, which runs from late April to early October.

We have three 'pay and play' facilities, while our green at Haywood Road, Mapperley is for season ticket holders only. The greens are maintained by our Parks and Street Care section, who also undertake the winter repairs and renovation works.

Indoor Bowls

We have one indoor bowls facility, at Richard Herrod Leisure Centre, which is the home of Gedling and District Indoor Bowls Club. The club is open all year round and their winter program includes casual play, roll ups, internal leagues, club competitions, inter club matches, county competitions, county games and national competitions.
