Football Pitches

We offer a number of grass football pitches for hire throughout the borough.  Our pitches are available to hire on an annual basis by customers aged 18 and above. To enquire about annual hire, or to request an additional fixture to an existing hire agreement, please contact our Sports Booking team.

Please note that additional bookings must be made by 12pm on Wednesday for the following week's play.

One-off bookings

One-off bookings are only available at Carlton Forum Leisure Centre. To make a booking and for details on pitch availability, please contact the centre on (0115) 987 2333 or carlton.forum@gedling.gov.u

Cancellations

You can request to cancel an existing booking at any time although this may incur a charge. The Club Secretary may request to cancel an existing booking by returning the following application form to our Direct Services team at the Jubilee House depot or via email to sportsbookings@gedling.gov.uk

The completed form must contain the name of the club as well as the time, date and venue of the cancelled event. Cancellations must also be made within the following time periods:

• Weekend matches – Notification must be received no later than 12pm on the Wednesday prior to the match
• Midweek matches – Notification must be received at least two working days prior to the match
• Referee cancellations – Cancellations where the referee cancels the match before it begins due to bad weather and poor pitch conditions must be received by email on the next working day
