Many people associate their advancing years with not being able to enjoy the same activities that they did when they were younger.
That’s why the British Heart Foundation and Department of Health’s Moving More Often scheme offers training that promotes regular physical activity for frailer, older people to increase mobility and promote independent living.
The scheme offers free training to local wardens, carers and volunteers who work with frailer, older people. The training provides you with the knowledge and skills for you to run simple but fun physical activity sessions.
To apply to join our training scheme or to find out how you could benefit, please contact the Exercise Promotion team.
