Richard Herrod Centre

The Richard Herrod Centre has served the community of Carlton, Mapperley, Gedling and the surrounding areas since 1987. With its function suite for weddings, parties and conferences, its various meeting rooms, main bar, restaurant and bowls green the Centre has a wide range of facilities available.

There is a range of live entertainment at the centre, from Saturday night artists in the main bar to tribute bands in the Millennium Suite.

There are plenty of activities and events happening throughout the year to which people of all ages are welcome.

At the Centre you will find:

Main Bar - open daily to the public. Sky sports showing on the big screen and live entertainment on Saturday evenings.
Restaurant - open daily for lunch and on Sundays for a traditional carvery, also available to hire for small functions and family gatherings.
Millennium Suite - a large function suite ideal for weddings, parties and conferences.
Meeting Room - an ideal venue for small meetings.
Community Room - medium sized activity room available for hire.
Bowls Area - home to the Gedling Indoor Bowls Club. (external website)
