Gedling Leisure Card

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Leisure Card is at all times the property of Gedling Borough Council and must be surrendered to the Council on demand. The Leisure Card is annually renewable.
  2. The Leisure Card is not transferable and must be used only by the person for whom it was issued. If transferred it will be forfeited.
  3. All changes to personal details must be disclosed to Gedling Borough Council.
  4. Gedling Borough Council reserves the right to refuse to issue or renew the Leisure Card.
  5. The Leisure Card must be available for inspection at any time. If it can not be produced or is in any way not valid the full price for the activity must be paid without right of refund. If required, customers must sign their name as proof of identity.
  6. The Leisure Card photograph must at all times be a true likeness of the holder. In the event of a change in the appearance of the landholder, the Council reserves the right to request a new photograph to be taken.
  7. Any loss of the Leisure Card shall be reported immediately to Gedling Borough Council.
  8. Any breach of these conditions will render the Leisure Card holder liable to forfeiture.
  9. Completion and signature of the Leisure Card application form will be held to constitute acceptance of these conditions including requirement for a photograph.
  10. Concessions may not apply in the following circumstances:
    • Group bookings or room hire
    • When a person entitled to the concessionary rates shares an activity with a noneligible person (i.e. Squash, Badminton bookings)
    • Courses
    • Sports Pitches
    • Other items as specified in the published price lists
  11. It is essential that you present your card at reception on every visit.
  12. Facilities may be withdrawn or restricted from time to time to perform essential repairs and refurbishment, where possible two weeks notice will be given. Other centres in the Borough may provide the same or similar facilities.
  13. Sessions may be limited over Christmas and other holiday periods. Please see notices at the time.
  14. In order to avoid disappointment please pre-book all sessions, bookings may be made up to 7 days in advance.
  15. The minimum age to join the fitness suites and classes is 14 years. The minimum age to join the youth Gym and classes is 8 years. 
  16. Please note under 16’s are not permitted to use free weights outside of the youth gym.
  17. Gedling Leisure reserves the right to refuse entry and / or to withdraw membership at any time.
  18. Gedling Leisure reserves the right to alter the programme of activities at the Centres.
  19. Use is subject to bookings and availability.
  20. All belongings should be kept in lockers. All personal belongings are left at the customer’s own risk

Lost, stolen and damaged cards

Replacement cards can be purchased at a cost of £1.50 from any Leisure Centre. If the card needs to be replaced through normal wear and tear then a replacement card will be issued free of charge.

Cancellations

In order to protect access for everyone we require 24 hours notice for cancellation of a booking. We reserve the right to charge the normal standard rate for the booking that is not cancelled.

Carers

Carers of people with disabilities will be admitted free of charge where this is for the purpose of assisting the disabled person.

Data Protection

All information collected on this form will be added to Gedling Leisure databases and will only be used for administration purposes. No personal details are shared with any 3rd party. The customer can also give their consent to be added to our communication and marketing database.
