Activity Friends is a peer-mentoring scheme designed to help people aged over 50 become more active, make new friends or take part in our organised physical activity sessions.
If you need to do more physical activity but need a little support and encouragement, then this could be for you. The scheme is delivered by our team of trained volunteers who will help you feel more involved in your local community and give you the confidence to become more active.
To get involved in our Activity Friends scheme, please contact the Exercise Promotion team. We will then speak to you to find out what activities interest you, as well as arranging a meeting with an Activity Friend who best suits your needs.
If you are interested in becoming an Activity Friend and providing support to others to become more physically active, please also get in touch using the details above.
