Arnold Carnival is organised by Gedling Borough Council and is a free community event attracting approximately 22,000 people over the weekend, weather permitting

This year's Arnold Carnival will take place on Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 June 2018 at Arnot Hill Park, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 6LU. For more information about what's on at the Carnival visit our What's On page. 

Stallholder information

At the carnival we have a mix of community and professional stage entertainment on both days. We have over 35 registered charities, 35 individual craft stall holders, 20 trade stalls and 20 information providers.  We also have catering units and a mobile bar on site.

Stall sizes

All outdoor stalls are four metres wide with a small gap between the next stall.  If your gazebo is larger than four metres, you will need two stalls or an end plot.  If you require an end plot, please request this in the Goods for Sale/Activity/Requirements section on the application form.

Indoor Craft stalls are allocated a 6ft x 2ft table and one chair.  There is space for five (4m) craft stalls immediately outside the craft marquee (gazebo needed).

Set up time

Setting up time is between 9.15am - 11.00am and taking down is from 4.30pm.  Trading is from mid-day Saturday and 11.00am Sunday till approximately 5.00pm.  Evening trading is permitted with prior notification.

Stalls and car parking spaces are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

Parking and vehicle movement

There is no vehicular movement on site until 4.30pm.  Please ensure all attendees are aware of the no vehicle movement on site, this is a strict Health & Safety requirement.  Vehicles will be allowed back on site after 4.30 to enable traders to load up and vacate the site under the direction of the site Marshals.

£5m Public Liability Insurance cover is required for this event.

A space is only secured when payment has been made.  Information on payment methods will be in your acknowledgement email.

Marshals will be on site during the day and provide overnight security; however, Gedling Borough Council cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to equipment left unattended.
