We have a duty to seize any dog found unaccompanied in a public place or on private property where it has not been invited. We also have to provide a somewhere for dogs to be brought to out of normal working hours
If you find a stray dog in normal working hours please contact us and we will arrange to collect it from you.

If you find a stray dog at any other time please call 07504 033415 and you will be given details of the location of where to drop the dog to. You should note that we will not collect the dog from you and you must be prepared to travel up to 11 Miles from the Arnold area with the dog to where it needs to be dropped off.
Neighbourhood Wardens will make all reasonable attempts to reunite stray dogs with its owner if it is wearing a collar and tag, or is micro chipped. Any dog found straying will be kennelled for seven full days in which time the owner may claim the dog. The dog owner will be liable for any costs incurred, please see the list below:
