About us

The Richard Herrod Centre is a multi-functional community hub for live events, socialising, indoor bowls and much more. We're located on Foxhill Road in Carlton, we have plenty of free parking available and we're also just a short walk away from Carlton Forum Leisure Centre.

We put on live entertainment shows, special family nights and host regular events such as the Armed Forces Breakfast Club at the centre.

Our bar is open 10.30am-9pm every day for hot and cold drinks and bar snacks. We show Sky Sports on the big screen for all the major matches. Find out more about our bar.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the lounge area (the room just to the left of the bar) and must be kept on a lead at all times. Drinking water can be provided for them and they may even get a treat!

With a large indoor bowling green, the Richard Herrod Centre is also home to Gedling Indoor Bowls Club.

The nearest bus stops to Richard Herrod Centre are for route numbers 39 on Valley Road (3 mins walk) and the Nottingham Minibus N73 which stops directly outside the centre.
