If you are looking for Apprenticeship or Employability advice please come along to the Apprenticeship/Employability Event and meet-up with a range of friendly employers and providers looking to offer advice in either starting a new career or moving your career forward, you will be able to speak to an array of different sector professionals from retail to care. Careers Q&A - STEM Apprenticeships

A 45-minute online Q&A session with people working in a wide range of STEM sectors, with a particular focus on apprenticeships in STEM.

Ignite! is a small Nottingham-based charity working with children, young people and families to develop creativity and curiosity. Ignite! produces the Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity in February every year, which is all about taking science out of the lab and into our everyday lives where we can celebrate, interact and interrogate it.

The traineeship is for 19-24 year olds who wish to pursue a career in the sport and leisure industry. Based at Portland Leisure Centre, we have a huge selection of roles, from teaching, to coaching, HR to marketing.

Practical assistance with Job Searching 

We will provide advice and guidance around completing CVs, job application forms, preparing for and undertaking interviews and building confidence towards work.

Chesterfield College

Sector-based Work Academy Programs with Chesterfield College

Available for anyone over 19+

HGV driver training including a short course starting on March 21 for 2 weeks in Nottingham leading into a 16-week course to gain  HGV class 1 and 2 licences, Digital Tachograph card and CPC.

Applicaints must have UK driving licence with less than 6 points, no drink or drugs offences, no sexual crimes, no violent crimes, no medical conditions that would disqualify/restrict applicants under DVLA, settled status. Guaranteed jobs at the end with DHL starting from £40k

We also have opportunities to work from home for Saga in customer service starting on £19K and going up to £25k + bonus.
This is a 2 week course starting on the 21 March online, with a guaranteed interview at the end. it is open to anyone who is 19+ who has their own laptop or android tablet as the course will be on Microsoft Teams.
