As the Easter holidays approach, Gedling Borough Council is thrilled to announce an array of festive events across our town centres. Designed to celebrate the spirit of Easter and promote local businesses, our Easter egg trails promise fun-filled adventures for residents of all ages.
Starting from Saturday 23rd March, and spanning across Arnold, Carlton, Mapperley, and Netherfield town centres, these egg-cellent trails offer an exciting opportunity for residents to explore their local town centres while hunting for beautifully decorated eggs. Simply pick up a trail sheet from any of the participating retailers and embark on a delightful journey through our vibrant town centres.

Netherfield - You can collect your trail sheets from St George's Centre
But the fun doesn't stop there! On Saturday, 30th March, join us at a special Easter Market at The AMP in Arnold, where the Easter Bunny himself will make a guest appearance. It's an event not to be missed, filled with festivities, treats, and the perfect opportunity to soak up the Easter atmosphere with friends and family.
In addition to the joy of hunting for eggs, our Easter egg trails have a heartwarming twist. Some of the beautifully decorated eggs displayed in shop windows in Arnold have been lovingly designed by local schoolchildren from various schools.
