Description
Gedling Borough Council will be hosting a series of free retail workshops to support local businesses to boost their sales.
The 2 hour sessions will be held at the Council’s civic centre over the next few months, starting on Wednesday 15 January with a session on how businesses can start the year with a clear vision and strategies for a thriving 2025.
The events are being run by Ovy Design, a Nottingham based business who will be providing hands-on, informal workshops designed to meet the needs of businesses, especially small, medium and new businesses looking for help to attract more customers and increase sales with easy-to-use strategies.
The workshops include sessions on how to create Instagramable windows and displays, using phones to showcase shops, future-proofing for retail sustainability, using social media to boost business and more.
The sessions will give businesses the practical tips they need and give them an opportunity to network with other businesses.
The workshops are completely free and are on a first come, first served basis. The programmes are being supported by the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.
