On Sunday 19 November a Mapperley Remembrance Parade will take place to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

The Parade will assemble at Bonington Road Car Park at 10:30am (located behind the old TSB bank, Costa and Bombay Brasserie) before marching to Mapperley Memorial, at the junction of Woodthorpe Drive & Plains Road, for wreath laying service from approximately 10:40am.

Road Closures and delays likely (10:30am -11:45am) for the corner of Coronation Road, the top of Woodthorpe Drive on the corner of Plains Road, the corner of Whittington Road and Plains Road. The top of Breck Hill Drive on the corner of Plains Road. The corner of Bennett Road and Plains Road. The corner of Bonnington Road and Plains Road. The corner of Greeton Road and Plains Road.   

Diversions and road closures are likely to be in place between 10:30am - 11:45am.
