This is Haresh Sood’s directorial debut. A real-life comedy spin on the film called Monsoon Wedding by Mira Nair. My Niece's Big Fat Delhi Wedding was shot in Gurugram, a suburb of Delhi, over 10 days during 10 ceremonies highlighting the key ‘C’ words associated to a big fat Indian wedding including, cost, culture, ceremonies and above all the comedy.
Showcased at more than 100 film festivals globally, with a reach of 5 million people worldwide, this film has won awards all over the globe at film festivals.
