Gedling Borough Council and the Department for Work and Pensions are hosting a Employment Health and Wellbeing Event at the St. George's Centre in Netherfield on Thursday 13 October.
The free event is a great chance to pick up some tips on job seeking from local employers, Jigsaw Homes and the National Careers Service.
Come along to meet with employers as well as advice and support to complete online applications.
The event will also have teams from the Nottingham Energy Partnership, Severn Trent Water and other organisations who can offer advice around money saving measures.
Trentside Medical Team will be doing free blood pressure and diabetes checks on the day.
Gedling Borough Council's housing team will be on hand to offer support and advice about homelessness.
The Carers Foundation will be available to offer advice and support at the event too.
There is no need to book a place, just pop in between 10am and 3pm.
