The world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Company returns to the Bonington Theatre for two exciting live performances of Shakespeare’s classic play, Romeo and Juliet.
Each performance tells the tragic story of two star-crossed lovers in 90-minutes and uses an edited version of the play’s original language to make it a perfect first introduction to Shakespeare.
When Romeo meets Juliet, the world around them melts away. But then reality kicks in; their families are enemies, and they will never be allowed to stay together. With the world against them, they hatch a plan to escape the lives they were born into. But fate has other ideas.
