Gedling Borough Treasure Map Trails have launched! The award-winning, fantasy-themed adventures are set to captivate the imaginations of children and offer families a fun and engaging way to explore local shops and landmarks.

The treasure trails are aimed at families with children aged 5 to 12. They are designed to get families enjoying their local town centres in a completely new and interactive way. You are invited to pick up a free map trail leaflet and embark on an adventure to find hidden treasures such as statues, sculptures, gargoyles, and quirky signs, many of which reveal fascinating stories about the area’s rich history.

There are six trail maps to follow: Arnold, Netherfield, Carlton Hill, Mapperley, Arnot Hill Park and Bestwood Country Park.

The trail map leaflets fold out to an A3 poster that children can hold, follow the map and write on, as they discover each of the treasures. At the end of their adventure, they can download a certificate to celebrate their achievement and chart their progress in the Treasure Map Trails Academy.

The trails have been funded by the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund.

Arnold Treasure Map Trail
