All Gedling Leisure Centres are now closed until further notice, in line with Tier 4 Covid-19 restrictions. Find out more.

Temporary closure

From Thursday 31st December, Nottinghamshire will move into Tier 4 restrictions. As part of the new restrictions, all leisure centres, gyms and pools must close until further notice.

Visit the Gov.uk New National Restrictions page to find out more.

Please visit Gedling Borough Council’s website to sign up for Leisure emails and stay up to date with news about our leisure centres and an announcement on our centres re-opening.

In the meantime, you can still work out from home and we produced have a series of free online work outs that you can use to help you to stay fit while you can’t visit our centres.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

FAQs

What happens to my membership when the leisure centres close?

Monthly direct debit customers:

We will not collect any direct debits due to be paid on the 5th January 2021, so please don’t cancel your direct debit instruction. For those DNA customers paying on the 20th of the month we are not planning on taking the 20th January payment unless we are able to open the facilities prior to this date.

Annual DNA Members

Once we re-open your membership will be credited with the number of weeks the leisure facilities have been closed.

For customers who have recently joined the DNA scheme

Anyone joining DNA recently, whereby the pro rata upfront fee took them to 5th January, your account will be credited with a free month once the leisure centres re-open.

Current Swimming Lesson Customer

We will freeze swim lesson credits for any customers currently on the learn to swim scheme paying the upfront fee for a block of lessons. Once we are in a position to re-start these lessons you will be notified, and from then your child’s credits will be used.
