Gedling borough Council has a Leader and Cabinet model which follows the structure below:

• Full Council
• Cabinet exercising executive functions
• Committees exercising non-executive functions
• Scrutiny Committees
• Standards Committee

Forward plan

The Forward plan is a list of the council’s key and non-key decisions that will be made over the next one to four months. These decisions will be made by either the Cabinet or Cabinet Members (Portfolio Holders).
