Take the climate challenge

We are excited to announce the launch of the Climate Change Challenge. It’s a learning tool designed to provide a general understanding of climate change and sustainability. It informs how the Council’s is responding to climate change and it may empower residents’ to take positive action.

The challenge is the first of its kind created by a local authority, working with consultation experts, Meritech. It is an interactive information programme that should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete and will help residents to learn more about what they can do to tackle climate change. This training has already been rolled out to all Gedling Borough Council staff and Councillors as part of its work to become net zero by 2030.
